Unrequited Love

Unrequited love is when one person loves somebody and that
person that they love doesn't love them back. Such as Gatsby, he was in
love with Daisy and Daisy said that she loved him but she didn't really
love him. her love was fake, such as proof where she tells Gatsby that
she married Tom because, " rich girls don't marry poor boys." That just
shows that she didn't really love him. If Daisy really loved Gatsby so much then she would've
waited for him and married him instead on Tom wether he was poor or rich.

But unrequinted love can influence people to do so many things to impress that person and
get them to like them or ever fall in love with them. Gatsby went throught he trouble of trying to
get Nick to get Daisy to come to tea just so that Gatsby could show Daisy his house and impress
her with how big and nice his house was and how expensive things were in his house and stuff. I
think Gatsby and Daisy show a great example of unrequinted love.
